The mode of goodness means we live in a culture of giving. Through intimate relationships where we support each other materially, spiritually, emotionally, and psychologically. We can see that out of four categories of need we have as humans only one of them is a outer need and three are inner needs. The mode of passion is all about trying to fulfill our needs from the outside. The mode of goodness takes care of the body and then works on keeping balance of these internal needs we all have. Sattva guna is sanskrit word for living in the mode of goodness. We are all looking to be fulfilled in ways that bring inner satisfaction. We are spiritual beings having a material experience. So we have to choose our path and way of life carefully. Our very way of life has a major impact on shaping our consciousness. To be continued

How many of us intend to slow down and connect deeply with someone today. Do we plan to even connect with our own feelings and emotions today. Beyond that would be to go deeper and make the effort to process them and work through them to reach new insights in life. Many of us may find that we are chasing the carrot that is moving so fast that we hardly have a second to stop and think what am I actually doing with my life. We are here on this earth to rise above the lower modes which cause us to forget the intrinsic core values of who we are. So most of us may not be aware due to living in the mode of passion that we are looking hard with anticipation for the next pleasure in this world. If this is the case there is a good chance you are blind to the reality that this hard search for temporary pleasure only distracts us from our essence. One simple spiritual principal I see overlooked is to follow a culture of respect. Another one is a culture of giving. The earth would not be in the condition it is if these were practiced in our economic system.

The economic system that has been designed by the corporate world has been designed to be a system of infinite growth on a finite planet. For the present system to function it is always dependent on growth. This is a system in the mode of passion. In the mode of passion it is everyone for oneself and it greatly revolves around competition and greed. It breeds a individualistic society which we can see is the paradigm with which we live in now. The other options we have are to live in the mode of ignorance, where we inevitably ignore what is good for our own welfare which usually breeds destructive behavior toward ourself and others( examples are drug addition, slaughter houses and harming others in anyway for profit), or we live in the mode of goodness where we cultivate the culture of respect, compassion and generosity for ourselves, and every living entity.

The Natives before making a decision would consider how that decision would effect 7 future generations. This is the mode of goodness. Instead of a economic system designed around each trying to become unlimitedly rich and have as much as possible, there can be a gift economy where people have simple trades and yes trade or gift each other with faith that their needs will be fulfilled. We have placed our faith in the system which we live in today which is governed by the modes of passion and ignorance.

The most common problem is that we try to be the controllers of our own and other peoples lives and are blind to the divine energy which is controlled by a beautiful loving supreme being. Attempting to control our own and others worlds ultimately leads to utter frustration distress and suffering. We become a lost child struggling against the divine will. This creates a whole spectrum of dysfunction one of them being blocked prana or chi in the body which can lead to a gamut of health issues. Dancing in harmony with the divine will is the sure remedy to all problems in this world and each individual has to awaken to their personal path on the journey of life. Beholding the present moment by observing the divine plan unveiling in front of our eyes is a breathtaking spectacle.

The other most common problem is that the stress of functioning in this world unconsciously creates huge health issues and it is tough to live consciously if one is struggling with their health.Yogipatch has had amazing results with people clearing debilitating pathogens from the their bodies using their purification system. The purification system purges the body of the blockages and toxins, this can rejuvenate the health of any individual in any health condition and also can have dramatic results in bringing mental clarity. We had one man after 3 months of using the system completely detox lung cancer out of his body. Another women recently in Alaska who has had no appetite for two years because of a really bad case of parasites got her appetite back in the first day of using the purification system. This women had used all kind of other remedies and did not find any relief from them. I urge you to be conscious of your whole existence and to do this you need to have a consistent maintenance program to keep the vehicle your soul is driving around in good working condition.

The meaning of the word Yoga is linking up to the divine. Bhakti which is renowned as the top most of the yoga systems is governed by love and devotion. Its goal is developing a personal relationship based giving ones life in unconditional service. The vedic scriptures educate us, that we are by nature loving servants of the Supreme Personality Of Godhead and have a relationship that is of pure unconditional love. When this goal is achieved the highest bliss is experienced. One comes into the reality of Satchitanada. This is the realization that one is eternal, full of knowledge and bliss.

The great Bhakti yoga masters teach that the number one priority is to maintain ones health properly, second is having a daily regulated spiritual practice, and the third is to give oneself in compassionate loving service to humanity. Without keeping ones health in good condition it is almost impossible to do the other two things. Yogipatch is consciously creating its products to keep peoples health in optimum working order so they can do the things in life that will bring about difference and spiritual upliftment. We have especially put an intense amount of effort into the purification system. It is designed to brings ones health back into a optimum level of functioning. It is recommended that one use the purification system for two months out of each year, and it is even better if it can be used every six months. This is designed to remove the pathogens and toxins that destroy ones health, and to surcharge the body with antioxidants and cellular rejuvenation. Please visit yogipatch.com for more information

Detoxing has been around for a very long time but only recently have more and more people started asking, ” what is it?” and “should I detox?”. Detoxing, is certainly on the cusp of an explosion. It just makes sense. It’s a lifestyle that encompasses what you eat, what you drink, your physical activity and your mind, emotions and spirit. It’s something that can have a tremendous impact on your health and on your life. But don’t worry you’re not running away to join a cult, you’re not going to be a social outcast, or subscribing to something difficult to do. Detox has been around for quite some time and it’s only getting easier and easier to make some simple changes in your life that will make a big impact. Like with anything it’s natural to a skeptic but when you start to learn more about detoxing and eventually start a detox program yourself you’re going to be pleasantly surprised and then you might be a little angry because you didn’t know about this sooner.

Detox has a simple underlying message: In today’s world and in your everyday life we are bombarded with harmful pollutants and chemicals which your body doesn’t know what to do with. They aren’t nutrients, they can’t be broken down so your body ends up storing these toxins anywhere they can usually in your body fat, organs and other tissues. Over time these toxins continue to build up eventually making YOU toxic. These high levels of toxicity can affect your health, physical appearance, and emotional well-being. Let’s be clear, when I say toxins are found in your everyday life I mean it. Toxins are in the air, water, food, your home, beauty products, plastics, clothes…everywhere. It’s impossible to live in the modern world and not be exposed to toxins but there is good news. We also live in a time where we can facilitate an excellent defense. The healthy options are out there right now and only growing. When you detox your goal is to eliminate as many and as much of these toxins from your body and daily life as possible.

The benefits of detoxing are almost never ending. You can look to lose weight, reduce cellulite, get rid of those dark circles under your eyes, have healthier nails ashinier hair! Sound good so far? Well, in addition to the wonderful changes you see on the outside, you’ll see some amazing changes on the inside. You can look for increased energy, the ability to think more clearly, better sleep patterns, and the ability to analyze a situation and make decisions quickly. Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Andrew_Pasquella The question we need to be asking ourselves is am I inviting life threatening diseases into my life such as cancer. Diseases such as cancer, are a unfortunate overload of toxic waste in the body which has accumulated and is life threatening. Yogipatch purification system is one of the most comprehensive detoxes on the market as it targets parasites and pathogens, 80 different environmental toxins, the biofilm or ama in the body, works on cellular reconstruction, reduces inflamation, increases glutathione production, and balances the chi or prana flowing through the body. This detox can be accompanied by another detox such as herbs and a strict diet or you can just do it on its own without a supplemental detox or changing your diet if it is not possible you. We recommend doing the full purification system for at least two months. This system has the ability to cause amazing health improvements. Recently someone with lung cancer did three months of the purification system and there lung cancer was gone!. We also had a client who had intolerable parasites in her body for the last two years and it got so severe she developed one of the symptoms of parasite infestation, loss of appetite almost together. After the first day of doing the purification system she regained her appetite after not feeling hungry for two years. Please visit yogipatch.com for more information.

Natural electricity is a great way to save a considerable amount of money each year as well as doing your part in helping the environment. Many people are starting to use detailed DIY guides to easily and affordably create their own windmills and or solar cells. Using said windmills or solar cells to tap renewable sources such as the wind or the sun, respectively, you can convert the energy which they produce into natural electricity. This electricity works just as well as that which you get from your power company. Using this natural electricity to power your home, you can live off the grid and no longer rely on your power company, instead being completely self sufficient. There are numerous benefits for doing so, so it’s easy to see why so many people are moving in this direction each day.

Quite possibly the best benefit of creating your own natural electricity is that it’s completely free. What’s more is the more natural energy which you take in, the more natural electricity you can create. If you create an abundance of natural electricity, that is more than you use in a given month, you can sell the excess back to the power company for a profit. Many people do this for a handsome supplemental income each month, especially those with large plots of land to utilize towards it. You can do this, as well, but on a smaller scale. This is especially rewarding as the amount of natural electricity which you create is really up to you.

Knowing that you’re completely self reliant and simultaneously helping the environment is a great feeling you get when you live off the grid. It’s great not having to rely on the power company and knowing that your natural electricity is coming from renewable and clean sources. As you rely less on the power company, you’re helping to free up more energy for others. This goes double if you are creating and selling back electricity to the power company as you are helping other people to rely less on finite energy sources, as well.

Using a DIY guide to create natural electricity is the fun and economical way that thousands of families have begun to live off the grid. As this technology has gone increasingly mainstream so that anyone can do it with the right information, a number of guides from different environmental parties have flooded the market in recent months. Visit http://www.renewableenergyreviewed.com to see which guide would be best for you and take your first step towards living off the grid today.

We all yearn internally to live simply if we know it or not. If you don’t know it than it is very likely that you are not in touch with your inner self, or intuition. When life is simple and we live from a place of inner satisfaction we are able to come from a place of higher values toward ourselves and others such as humility, compassion, forgiveness, patience and gratitude. When insatiable greed becomes one’s driving force, it is a common to fall in the unfortunate mood of wanting to take advantage of others and live from values that degrade us such as greed, envy, lust, anger and pride. This can all come about from simply falling deeper into a life of materialism, and not follow our hearts to seek a life of purity, simplicity and generosity.

matt gibson yogipatch

A yoga life is meant to be to a simple life, free from attachments and with a mind that can transcend the 5 senses to experience living from the 6th sense of intuition. But yoga in our life, in the mainstream, can be quite complicated. Which type of yoga should I do? Can I afford it? How do I learn it? Who do I learn from? If is is a spiritual practice why do I have to pay for it? Today I got an e-newsletter that have the 10 top yoga clothing designers to choose from. Yikes! Now we have to afford yoga clothes and a “yoga look” as well?

Pahtanjali’s Yoga Sutras give us many insights into what yoga is ii:42 states ” Owing to contentment, there is an unexcelled attainment of happiness” and Yogi Bhajan told us that happiness is our birthright.

The truth is that our lives feel more and more complicated. Maybe this is why so many turn toward yoga. Stress levels are up, people are taking anti-depressants, anti-anxiety pills and sleeping medications to cope with their everyday lives. The pressures of these times are reflected in our economy, our healthcare system, our health problems and our lives.

The world is no longer a simple place. The economy is global. We are all made aware of the need to return to a simpler way of living to save our planet- our air, water, food supplies and all the living species. Many yogis are jumping on the bandwagon of the trend but are we really heeding the message in our own lives? Many are, in little ways, and in big efforts. Linda Rowe, the yoga teacher in Houlton, Maine built a home with her husband David that was totally green, using solar and compost toilets. The home is beautiful and built with the help of friends and proof that you don’t need a big budget to be green.

Being on a budget is actually a great way to live more simply. We often create less waste and excess this way. If you do not have the budget for ongoing yoga classes, take a few to get started, see if you can volunteer or barter for some classes. Ask the teacher for a home routine. Purchase a DVD for home practice or take a book or video/DVD out of the library. The best and most basic practice in yoga are sun salutations.(see end of article for description) While it is great fun to challenge yourself to more than this, with a few sun salutations a day you can develop a practice that will give you more flexibility and strength. Adding some pranayam to your practice makes you realize the full potential of the breath to deliver life giving prana to our cells, internal organs and systems. As we breathe deeply we momentatily can free our mind from the attachments to things we think we are missing in our lives, unfulfilled dreams and desires, and just be free in the moment. A yoga practice can be very simple to have profound effects. Slowing the breath, suspending and retaining the breath, can all change patterns in our way of thinking, feeling and being. We may not be able to control certain externals in our lives but with yoga we can learn to control our mind, body, breath and our reactions to things. It all seems a bit simpler in those moments.

In a yogi life we also practice nonharming and being truthful. This truly makes life simpler, living aunthentically, not having to watch your back or remember some lie you told someone! We can carry that from noninjuring ourselves in our physical practice ( who said we have to push ourselves into impossible postures?) to the words we say to others and ourselves. Are we really making our lives more complicated than we need to just by what we say and think? We might sit in silence for a few minutes following the flow of our breath and ask ourselves what we might be able to change to not make life so complicated!

The fact is that human beings are complicated, each and every one of us, but it is how we handle all our components- emotional, physical, mental, psychological, spiritual- that helps us create the physical and mental balance yoga reaches for. We can create rituals to make our practice support a balanced life but also need to allow ourselves to be flexible too. If you feel guilty and angry at yourself for not exercising more or meditating more, or at the exact same time everyday, this will only cause more stress and imbalance.
No matter who we are and how much we practice we live in this world. We have real problems. With yoga we have asana to purify the body. We have tools to help our mind see things more clearly so we can live simply. Yoga is an art and a science. Ultimately yoga is to help us to strive to be more happy. Yoga has become so popular that some teachers are reaching the masses and are real money making machines. Perhaps the teachers who are not reaching the masses, catering to the star system our culture so thrives on, are the ones living more simply like the yogis of old. That is for our hearts to decide, and theirs. Whatever form it takes and whatever speaks to you, yoga is a practice that can lighten your load and make life seem a little easier.Article Source:

The ocean water being about 31 degrees (almost ice) put me in shock as I was being tossed around by the powerful currents. For about 5 minutes I struggled really hard to try and swim to the closest shore, but the water started taking its toll on me and rendering me ineffective against the powers of nature.
At this moment I began to contemplate my death and felt myself become weak and more faint on each passing minute. I now came to a point where I felt all I could do is keep myself above the water and my perception had got to a point where I was losing track of what was really happening to me. At this moment I heard the sweetest most nurturing sound, a loud noisy motor boat speeding through the water maneuvering through the rapids. I couldn’t believe that I was saved from this deathly situation. I screamed with everything I had in my lungs “HELP”, “PLEASE HELP ME”. To my complete disbelief the boat and its drivers who were obviously deeply focusing on the task of driving through these tidal rapids did not hear me or notice me and continued driving on by me. I could not believe my bad luck and deeply feared I may not be able to find my way out of this situation alive.

At this point I felt completely helpless and my thoughts went from trying to save myself to giving myself to god to rescue me. I had no knowledge of god or who he was but all I did at that point is from the deepest place with in me feel and pray that I am your child and I have no where else to turn to. I felt completely powerless and realized I couldn’t save myself. I just prayed from my heart please somebody save me I am helpless. I was released!, the tidal rapids released me from their powerful whorlpools. I was able to swim a distance over to a rock wall. Now relieved from the thrashing tidal rapids I looked up across the water and to my disbelief there was a boat braving the turbulant waters and driving to rescue me. I had hypothermia and was very faint only remembering my rescuers putting me in a warm shower and giving me a cup of ginger tea.
I found myself sitting in my tipi and contemplating how I had found the treasure I had been looking for, for so long. It took me coming close to my death, on my knees to find what I was looking so intensely for. I realized the highest truth is receptive to me when I am in a humble state. God did not come when I was taking shelter of external things. This transformed my life’s direction and I found my journey taking me to the unexpected, I began seeking out the source of what I got a glimpse of that day.

When one is in knowledge, there is a understanding that every action has a re-action. Evolving on our Journeys means we are conscious of what Karma we may bring into our lives before performing any action. First of all to do this one has to leave the modes of ignorance and passion and enter the mode of goodness which can be facilitated by Yoga practice, meditation, chi gong etc integrated with bonafide spiritual philosophy. At Yogipatch we have seen many clients experience a shift in consciousness when one is not so overwhelmed with life and its circumstances. We have designed the Zen Patch to facilitate people being able to shift into this deeper place of being and we recommend using a Yoga or Meditation practice coupled with authoritative knowledge to get your life on track. This is where one can experience the deep happiness we are all searching for in this world and learn to share the love and compassion we all yearn to give unconditionally to the world(humans, animals, mother earth). Usually we are not looking in the right places. Amazingly enough it is within us and here we all are running around putting ourselves in distressful situations. These very things that create our distress and anxiety now are what bind us in the cycle of karma in the future.
